
Couch Lizard experiences the Nedbank vibe
Thought I would “pop” into the Nedbank Kenilworth as I got a sms saying my new cheque card was ready. Arrived and was vert pleasantly suprised to see that there was no queue at card collection. “This should be quick” I thought….famous last words.
30 minutes later I walked out of there with a new card. The staff at the bank seem to have no idea of what customer service is!!! (I spose thats the case with all Cape Town businesses). The first tellers PC was broken, so she could only book the card for me. Then I had to go to another teller to get the pin captured. All the while they are chatting away, showing each other something on their computer, laughing and joking like I have all the time in the world (well I guess as a Couch Lizard I do, but that’s beside the point).
I mean really, card collection should be a 5 minute process. Sign this please Mr Couch Lizard and off you go.
Apparently not at Nedwank.
